AUR · a public network

Money and apps on a network anyone can check.

AUREN is a public network with its own coin, AUR. Send it in seconds, earn rewards by staking it, and use apps, all confirmed by independent validators around the world instead of a single company.

AUR is the coin of the AUREN mainnet and will carry real value there. The network running today is the public testnet, which hands out coins from a free faucet. Mainnet launches after independent security audits.

Questions

Good to know

Is AUR real money?

On mainnet, yes: AUR is the real coin of the network, with a real fee market, real staking rewards and real fee burning. The testnet you can try today gives coins away from a faucet. Mainnet launches after independent security audits.

What if I lose my password?

Nobody, including us, can reset it for you. Write down your recovery phrase and keep it offline. You can also add trusted people who can help you recover your account.

How much does it cost to use?

Every action shows its fee before you confirm. Most of it is permanently removed from supply rather than paid to a company.

Who runs AUREN?

A set of independent validators confirm every block. Anyone can look at what they did on the explorer.

Is it safe?

It is new software that has not been independently audited yet. Before mainnet launches, treat it as experimental and never put in more than you can afford to lose.

Can I check it myself?

Yes. Every block, payment, account and validator is public on the explorer.
